Card Glance is a card scanner. It needs very little about you, and this page says exactly what it keeps, who it passes things to, and how to have it all removed.

What the app stores about you

What stays on your phone

Your card photos, your collections and their values live on your phone, not on our servers. A photo is sent away only at the moment of a scan, to be identified, and is not stored by us afterwards. Deleting the app deletes them.

Who else sees a scan

Nobody buys or sells your data, and there is no advertising or third-party analytics in the app.

The leaderboard is opt-in

Public leaderboards on this site show the busiest scanners each month and all time. By default you appear under a generated anonymous name such as "Holo Toploader 4821" — nothing that identifies you. Only if you turn on "List me by nickname" in the app does a name of your choosing appear, along with your level if you leave that switched on. Your Google account name and email are never shown publicly. Switch it off at any time and your entry goes back to being anonymous.

The launch email list

If you give us your email address on this website, we store the address and the date and use it to tell you when the app is released and if a TestFlight place is available. Nothing else, and no sharing. Reply to any message, or write to us, to be removed.

Children

Card Glance is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Families do use the app together — if a child has given us information and you would like it removed, write to us and we will remove it.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your account for as long as you use the app. To have your account and everything attached to it deleted, write to support@cardglance.app from the address you signed in with, or from any address if you use an anonymous account and can tell us the account identifier shown in Settings. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm when it is done. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the app will point you here. Material changes will be announced in the app.
